Hi! We're glad you're here.
We have a few things for you to keep in mind as you start your college search:
First, getting into a college isn’t proof of your excellence—you’re already an excellent human being. Second, this process shouldn't feel like an existential burden; it should feel like an opportunity to remind yourself of who you really are. Third, there’s no fee to apply to Wellesley. Fees are barriers, 和 we’re all about breaking down barriers.
So let’s get into it (if you’re ready, of course).

Important updates for applicants
Suspension of St和ardized Testing Requirement for 2024-2025 (Updated April 2024)
Wellesley College will continue to be test optional for those applying for entry in fall 2025. Since the introduction of test-optional practices at Wellesley, approximately 45% of our enrolling first-year students chose to apply without testing. As always, testing is just one part of our holistic, committee-based application review process. We review each applicant thoughtfully 和 within the context of their available resources. Regardless of an applicant’s decision to submit test scores, the admission committee is particularly interested in an applicant’s demonstrated writing 和 quantitative skills as key predictors for success in Wellesley’s curriculum.
The College will continue to assess the test-optional policy, 和 we will communicate updates for future application cycles as they become available.
